Katja Schiller Nwator
Katja Schiller Nwator is an International Development Consultant and Philanthropy Advisor who has worked across Africa to drive forward pioneering social programmes, multi-million dollar initiatives and community-level interventions that positively impact on the lives of women, youth, and African society as a whole.
Prior to setting up Motive Development Group, Katja achieved significant success while working in management positions for nonprofit organisations, including the Tony Elumelu Foundation and Freedom Foundation, where she designed and managed multi-million dollar programmes and initiated new development models.
Since commencing consultancy work with local and international clients, Katja has led on a variety of projects that include establishing in-country operations within Nigeria for U.S. and U.K. nonprofit organizations, devising state and national strategies and interventions for governments, while conducting groundbreaking research related to the practice and structure of philanthropy in Africa.
